Pressure resistant design
Save energy and money with pressure tank solar collectors
The pressure-resistant external tank solar collectors are special solar collector systems, the design and construction of which allows them to be integrated into higher pressure water networks or heating systems . Pressure-resistant systems can be connected to higher-pressure water networks or heating systems. Components and connections such as pipes, seals and valves are made of stronger materials or reinforced design to withstand higher internal pressures.
These systems are versatile and can be used residential s, shops, offices and other places.
These solar collectors are directly connected to network can be connected, of course the installation of a safety valve is recommended.
There are two types, in one case the tank itself is pressure-resistant, the other is a solution where a heat-exchange copper tube spiral is immersed in the non-pressure-resistant tank.
br />Caution, hot water is also possible in the tank, we recommend using a mixing valve!
Be independent from fossil fuels - install a solar collector with a pressure-resistant tank!
Principle of operation
Integrative pressurized solar water heater is a solar hot water system consisting of evacuated glass tubes, consisting of heat-pipe type tubes. The solar collector collects heat with high efficiency through a heat-pipe - copper surface. This is different from the thermosyphon solar water heater.
The heat-pipe's operation at very high temperatures and very low heat loss properties make it ideal as solar water heater. The heat-absorbing coating converts solar energy into thermal energy and transfers it to the heat-pipe through an aluminum layer. The liquid in the heat-pipe turns into steam, which goes into the condenser. The heat is transferred inside the tank containing the water, the steam becomes liquid again and returns to the heat-pipe. This continuous circulation transfers the heat from the heat-pipe to the cold water tank while the collector is heated by the sun. Hot water can be produced by introducing cold water into the bottom of the tank.
High performance functions:
- Year-round operation - with heating pad. Regardless of the weather, cloudy or rainy, day or night, the light-electric style ensures hot water in the shower.
- High absorption efficiency. The essential part of solar water heating systems is provided by the absorbing layer and the tube made of a good heat-conducting material - red copper.
- Performance improvement is achieved with perfect insulation, polyurethane foam ensures low heat loss. With this, a constant temperature can be maintained for a long time.
- The inner tank is made of stainless steel SUS304-2B (food grade), which is the best solution to be pressure-resistant, not corroded, not leaking, and not containing substances harmful to health.
- It works even at a pressure of 0.6 MPa, it can be directly connected to the city tap water system, ensuring more comfortable use at optimal pressure.
- The entire system has a good appearance and provides optional functions depending on the actual needs. Suitable for automatic operation. The system continues to operate even with a broken pipe.
Installation Guide
1. Frame assembly diagram
2. Installation of water tank and heat-pipes
1) Place the tank properly on the support frame, the four screws at the bottom of the tank must be inserted into the corresponding holes of the support bracket and then fixed with them (M8 nut).
2) Place the nylon cap at the bottom, put the dust-sealing silicone ring on the tube (a little detergent and water can be useful).
3) Place the nylon cap inside the tube, hold the tube tightly, then slowly twist clockwise until tight.
Caution:
a. Do not touch the pipe to the ground or it will break;
b. Before installation, make sure that the heat-pipe has not been exposed to sunlight for a long time, because in this case the metal at the end of the condenser will expand, so it cannot be inserted into the hole.
4) After all the pipes are inserted, adjust the angle of the water tank, then fix the tank with the screws.
Pipe network diagram
Please follow the following points during installation.
1. For dual heating (solar/electric), make sure electrical leakage protection is installed and do not use the electrical element during storms.
2. If solar energy heating is installed on a higher level, the user must equip the building with a lightning arrester, which is located at least 50 cm above the heating; If there is lightning protection, the heating system must also be insulated, and the distance between the two must not be less than 30 mm.
3. After finishing the installation of the supporting frame, a wind protection must be created so that strong gusts of wind do not topple the system and prevent damage.
4. The pipe arrangement should resemble a normal plumbing arrangement. The pipes must also be outside, they cannot hang directly from the pipe of the water tank. You have to start higher and work your way down, designed so that the slope is continuous, to avoid the accumulation of water in the pipes or the interruption of drainage.
5. All pipelines must be insulated, especially in sections with near-freezing temperatures. The insulation must be at least 50 mm thick.
6. The use of controllers is recommended. Please read the user manual of the controller carefully before use.
User Guidelines
1. If you do not want to use a solar water heating system, the valves in the hot water outlet sockets must be closed. When you fill it with water, open the valve.
2. To avoid scalding from overheated water, check the temperature of the water with your hand. When setting the temperature, the hot water valve must be set to provide the right temperature for showering according to the season, sunlight and pressure.
3. In winter, if the room temperature is low, the bathroom can be used to increase the temperature. In extremely cold areas, if you do not intend to use the solar water heater, the line must be completely drained to prevent cracking damage from freezing.
4. Before using the electric heater, check that the electric leakage protection is in place and the fuses are in good condition. Fill the tank with water before turning on the device. Heating without the presence of water is strictly prohibited, and after heating, make sure to turn off the device
It is strictly forbidden to take a bath with the electricity on!!!
5. Please do not shower during lightning and do not fill the tank in strong winds.
6. In summer, if the hot water demand is lower or the temperature is too high, cover the surface of the solar system to prevent further heat absorption.
Solar water heater tips
A simple approach to check that the collector tubes are in good condition.
1. Homogeneous color.
2. The open ventilation hole at the end of the collector tube must be in perfect condition.
3. The air absorbing chemical at the bottom of the collector tube should be like a mirror. The darker the bottom of the tube, the lower the vacuum level, if the lower part is whitish, the vacuum level is zero.
4. After the vacuum tube has been exposed to sunlight for several hours, touch it with your hand. The pipe is usually cold when the vacuum level is reduced.
What is the characteristic of a solar water heater?
Compared with traditional energy sources such as electricity and gas, the outstanding advantage of solar water heaters is that they are safe, energy-saving, clean and environmentally friendly, etc. As a result, it has quickly earned its place in the gas and electric heating market.
How much does a solar water heater cost?
The price of the system is highly dependent on the climate. In warm climates, the annual radiation is high, so simple systems can also be used (for example, in southern Europe). The total cost (installation) is lower than in colder climates with the possibility of frost (e.g. Northern Europe).
How should I choose a solar water heater?
A good product is a complete utility includes a guide, with symbols, in the package. The appearance of the product should be fair, reasonably structured and sophisticated. In addition to these, your sales and subsequent services must be perfect.
What size is needed?
Each person uses an average of 35-50 liters of hot water (approx. 45°C) for a shower. Solar energy is not traditional energy, so hot water cannot be produced in cloudy or rainy weather, so it is advisable to design a system that can produce and store twice as much water. If it rains continuously for 2 days, we recommend using a photo-electric type to ensure hot water in all circumstances.
How to choose the pipes?< br />The solar water heater is usually placed on the roof, it can generate some pressure from the inner room. The temperature of the hot water is high (sometimes more than 90°C), but the outside temperature is low (it can drop below -10°C). Therefore, cross-linked pipes or improved soft pipes are recommended. These pipes must be pressure-resistant, high-temperature-resistant, cold-resistant, non-toxic, have little heat loss and hard to freeze.
What can I do during the holidays? strong>
If you will be away for more than a week or more during the summer months, it is advisable to switch off the electricity supply and cover the collector. If the hot water system is not used for two to seven days, a small amount of hydrogen gas is produced, which is extremely flammable. In order to disperse the gas safely, it is recommended that the hot water system is switched on and that the water runs for a few minutes in the sink, basin or bathtub, but in no case in the dishwasher, washing machine or other appliance. During the procedure, it is forbidden to smoke, use open flames or other electrical devices. If the hydrogen escapes at the tap, it will probably be accompanied by an unusual noise, like air escaping. Do not put your hands or other body parts under the faucet during the process.
Do you use more hot water than you think?
Showers and dishwashers often use hot water. underestimated. Review these devices to determine if their daily use is greater than their storage volume. If you have 150 liters of hot water in your system and you use more than 150 liters, there may be periods when the water temperature is lower than normal. You should also check the washers for leaks and replace them if necessary.
How can I check the installed solar water heater before using it?
For the installed system, you should check that there is no shading in front of it from the south. You should check the water tank, pipes, valves for leaks. Are there any separation or leakage on the insulated wires? The connection between the vacuum pipes and the container must be adequate. The vacuum pipes must not be damaged, leaking or white.
How can the water temperature be increased?
1. Make sure the outlet and inlet pipes are insulated.
2. Choose a pipe with low thermal conductivity.
3. Fill the tank immediately after showering, make sure it is full at night so that the boiled water does not lose heat during the night.
4. If the water temperature is low when you shower, use the bathroom to increase the temperature. If bathing, add more boiled water to increase temperature.
5. Use an electric heater, turn it on and charge it.
Turn off the device when taking a shower< br />
Clean the vacuum tube. Dust in dusty tubes can affect absorption. The pipe must be cleaned of dust every six months. Clean with soapy water or detergent, by rubbing.
